The following 16 pages are pictures from the trip from Mississippi to Maryland. January 3 - February 8, 2005. A major winter storm has wrinkled the Chesapeake and we spent the better part of a week in Hampton, VA. Sorry, not a lot of info on many of the pictures. By the time I posted this, I had forgotten where I took some of them. If you are interested in a place, let me know and I'll track it down from the tug's log. The journey has been more than 1,650 miles - at 9 knots. Enjoy!

The tug Lauren E was outfitted during the week of January 3rd through the 8th and we departed Mississippi on Sunday January 9, 2005. On board were Pat Folan, Ed Redfield and John Schwind. Jim Messina joined the tug in Charleston when John had to get off. It was in the 70's each day in MS and the pelicans were curious about the preparations.
