We left Cohoes, NY light boat in October and ran out through the Erie Canal to Lake Erie and then west to Cleveland where we grabbed a 74 ft US Navy LCM-8 and towed it back across Lake Erie to Buffalo, through the Erie Canal, down the Hudson, down the NJ coast, across Delaware Bay and along the DelMarVa coast to Chesapeake Bay and in to Newport News Ship Yard. It went there for a paint job and when it was finished we brought it back to Cleveland.
