The mighty blue Herbie |
Here in the land of misfit toys, the dock guys decided that one of the cranes behind the ship had to come out. The Atlantic Salvor came over to hold the ship, we went in and pulled a small deck barge out under the stern lines as Anatoli gestured... |
...and while we were waiting for the third boat to arrive to help with the crane barge, the dock guy let the ship's stern lines go and the lines holding the crane barge to the dock with the wind blowing slightly off the dock, without telling us he was doing it.... |
...so we had to make up to the crane barge and back it out |
... and the Salvor had to balance the ship on the one barge between the ship and the dock as the dock guy for another mysterious reason had the ship slack the bow lines... |
.... while the Salvor juggled the ship, we had to go back behind it and pull the remaining crane barge towards the ship's midsection so she had something to rest on |
The Brian Nicholas arrived to help us get everything back in shape. |
