NEW YORK HARBOR - 2010 - PAGE 130 |
On June 26th, I ran the Edith Thornton for the Target Fireworks Show in the East River. We worked with the Cheyenne, each taking three 140' x 30' barges strung out in a row. We brought all six barges over to the East River together and then split the tow down the middle and took up station about a thousand feet apart. Each set of barges had the identical fireworks display and they were shot off at the same time. The entire show lasted 15 minutes. |
