TOWING SCRAP METAL IN NYC - 2008 - PAGE 3
In 2008, I ran the Herbert Brake, a 1,000 hp pushboat, in NY Harbor. We went to various scrap yards around the city bringing them empty barges and taking the loaded ones back to Claremont Terminal for offloading.

Nosing up to the loaded barge. We put one line between the barges, turn the loaded one loose and push the light one in to place. Once the light one is secured we make up to the loaded one and head out
