Front approaching
us on December 21, 2008. Winds went from 11 kts to 47 kts and seas
went from 1 to 3 to 7 to 10 ft in a little over an hour. |
|
As this front approached we lost
our steering. We were able to get the rudders amidships but had to
steer with engines. We turned back to Port Fourchon where we had
an assist in and made repairs. |
