On Nov 3, 2003 the Flushing and Tripp moved a ship from the P & G berth at the mouth of the Back River to a terminal at it's head of navigation. Here the two boats are leaving Peddocks Island.

I was on the Tripp and it was the bow boat
The Flushing holding in the stern as the ship's lines are taken in
Once the Alma was off the dock, we were just dragged along through the narrow channel until we were used at the next dock
Once off the next dock, we both were worked up to 90's and pushed her in.

On a raw day in November, we had to flip a barge over to repair her bottom. The Flushing and Tripp pulled from one side while the Baxter stood by. She finally flipped over after much ballasting on one side.
