RULES AND REGULATIONS ON NOISE EXPOSURE

1. All crew members transiting the engine room must wear ear plugs and ear muffs.

2. All crew members must wear earplugs when working in a high noise area.

3. It is advised that no Engineer or crew member should spend more than four hours out of a six hour shift in the engine room wearing dual ear protection when the main engine(s) is(are) running.

The above rules and regulations will be strictly enforced by the captain and mate of the vessel. Failure to comply with the rules could lead to loss of employment.

I understand the above rules and regulations issued by Intracoastal Transportation and know that it is my duty to follow them.
