AND SAFETY
Intracoastal Transportation, Inc strives to provide a safe working environment
for its employees. Employees are given on-the-job safety information such
as the proper handling/operation of equipment, emergency procedures, and
procedures for reporting safety hazards and injuries. Employees are expected
to conduct themselves in a manner that does not jeopardize the safety
of themselves, other employees, or the public. For more detailed safety

New employees are trained in safety measures pertaining to their particular
job. Employees are expected to follow all safety rules and use good judgment
at all times. Employees whose disregard of safety measures results in
the potential or actual injury to themselves, other employees, or the
public are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Intracoastal Transportation, Inc is committed to providing employees with
a safe working environment. Any form of violence, threats of violence,
intimidation of others or attempts to instill fear in coworkers will not
be tolerated. The possession of firearms or other weapons in the workplace,
menacing behavior, and "stalking" are all prohibited actions.
Violations of this policy will lead to disciplinary actions up to and
including termination of employment and the involvement of appropriate
law enforcement authorities as needed.
Employees should immediately report any condition that is or may become
a safety hazard. Any reported hazard is investigated by Health & Safety,
and corrective actions directed to the department who can address the
situation.
Intracoastal Transportation, Inc provides employees a secure work environment
by using the following accepted methods and processes: electronic alarm
and access systems, identification badges, assigned keys and areas for
employees to secure personal property.
Violations of company security must be reported to the employee's supervisor
and to Human Resources. Depending upon the severity of the violation and
its impact on the employee's own safety and the safety of others, the
employee may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
